Rhythm and MIDI stay local. Sound starts only after a click.

Steps, hits, rotation, BPM, note, velocity, channel, and loop count generate patterns only on the current page. EuclidGrid does not request a microphone, record audio, or scan MIDI devices; Web Audio synthesizes short tones only after you choose Preview.

Even pulse patterns, not cultural attribution

A Bresenham-style remainder test distributes 0–64 hits across 2–64 steps before cyclic rotation. BPM is limited to 20–400, MIDI note to 0–127, velocity to 1–127, channel to 1–16, and export loops to 1–32 bars. Preview uses short triangle-wave tones and no samples. The algorithm does not name traditional rhythms, determine cultural provenance, or model swing, groove, humanization, polyrhythms, accents, time-signature meaning, or DAW timing differences.

You decide whether to share exports

Refreshing or closing discards the current pattern. MIDI contains tempo, note on/off, timing, velocity, and channel only—no audio samples or copyrighted patches; reports and optional local checkpoints read the visible result summary. After download, verify duration, channel, and patch mapping in the target DAW.

Local report studio

The report studio reads only the workbench’s currently visible result summary for local preview, Markdown copy, JSON download, printing, and a SHA-256 fingerprint. It never reads input controls or original files and is not persisted unless you choose to download it.

Optional local checkpoints

Only when you explicitly choose Save does the tool write the visible result summary, time, and optional short label to this site’s browser storage, up to five entries. Imported files and input-control contents are never stored; you can export, restore same-tool checkpoints, or clear them at any time. Imports are limited to 128KB and validate the tool, timestamp, summary, and label of up to 80 characters.
